Round Coffee Table

 This round top coffee table was built as a reproduction of an original piece bought in by the customer.  After looking over the original table closely, it appeared that it was once a full size pedestal dining table that was shortened to coffee table height at some point.  I built a pair of these tables - based on the original - for a family to divide among the children.  The top is approximately 37"in diameter and it was made from a matched set of wide cherry.   The pedestal is hand turned as a single piece and the legs are connected with traditional mortise and tenon joinery.  The table is approximately 19" high.  The piece is finished in a natural color with wiping varnish - then waxed and buffed to a satiny finish.  The size, style, wood selection, and coloring can be customized to suit the customer's requirements.
